Inspiration & Concept

“Watch Dogs Legion”

During initial process, the cyberpunk style is highly popular, notably showcased in the promotional videos for 'Watch Dogs: Legion.' Inspired by watching this video, my team and I decided to create a VR parkour game set in a cyberpunk-style city.

Instruction Zero

A VR parkour game with 'action parkour' and 'cyberpunk' themes, players perform dynamic moves to strategically pursue enemies through various terrains, aiming for the fastest and successful pursuit.

Gameplay

Parkour & Pursuit

In the game, players embody a super-powered agent with the ability to manipulate time and experience parallel universes. The game features two modes: a competitive racing mode where players use VR devices to pursue targets, plan chase routes, and compete globally on leaderboards.

Additionally, the parallel universe mode allows players to witness alternate versions of themselves in the adjacent universe, freely switching between spaces, with actions impacting both parallel timelines. The unique time-loop skill enables players to reverse decisions by sacrificing time, experience points, or health if they regret their choices.

Counter Power

The game unfolds in Kowloon, Hong Kong, where the powerful D5 Corporation exploits human weaknesses to control secrets, finances, calls, and connections. Z, damaged in a mysterious event, loses all related memories and is abandoned in Kowloon's alleys. With hacker friends' assistance, Z uncovers D5's involvement, initiating a pursuit for revenge.

Initial Scene

In VR games, the initial interface is typically a 3D scene, and I was responsible for constructing the initial interface scene in my team.
